We have our first guest appearance on Monday's Mutt! My friends and former neighbors, Dave and Lindsey, are the proud owners of this week's lucky mutt. His drool, howl and personality won the hearts of Maude, Maeve, Mac and Duncan. Live from Asheville, NC. . .I introduce you to:
Henry
GT: Hi Henry. We miss you! How's Asheville?
Henry: Cold.
GT: I know that most people think you are still a puppy, but can you tell everyone how old you are?
Henry: I will be 4 next month. . .guess I age well!
GT: What breed of dog are you?
Henry: I am 100% Bloodhound
GT: How long have you been with your family?
Henry: As long as I can remember.
GT: How did you get your name?
Henry: My mom came up with it, but my dad thinks he got it from a Widespread Panic song.
GT: What is your best trick?
Henry: Is slobbering a trick?
GT: Sure, why not. . .as long as it's what you do best.
Henry: Oh yes, I leave my mark all over the place.
GT: Who is your best friend?
Henry: My older brother, Traveler. We're thick as thieves.
GT: Do you have a favorite food?
Henry: Since I'm not allowed to eat people food, I'll have to say treats!
GT: What is your worst habit?
Henry: I've been told I don't listen to anything. . .at least I think that is what I was told. I really wasn't paying attention.
GT: Do you have any pet peeves?
Henry: Just people who don't want to pet me. And not being able to bury my treats when I'm inside. That really ticks me off!
GT: Do you have any nicknames, Henry?
Henry: Henri (the French pronunciation) of course, Mr. H, Henny Penny, Love Bug, Punkins, Bunkins
GT: What is a Bunkins?
Henry: I have no idea. Ask my mom.
GT: Do you have a favorite walk?
Henry: Any way on trash day so I can leave my "mark" on all the cans.
GT: What is one word to describe you?
Henry: Is kissy-face one word?
GT: You have lived all over the United States. . .Colorado, Charlotte and now Asheville. Where is your favorite place to live so far?
Henry: Of course that would be in Charlotte because we lived next door to you!
GT: Anything else you'd like everyone to know?
Henry: I have the best bellowing bark. Arooooooo!
GT: Yes, you do have a great aroooooooo. You and Maeve had quite the duet going on between the fences.
Thanks Henry! Hugs and kisses from all of us in Charlotte.
